1.0.        INTRODUCTION The Civil Procedure (Amendment) Rules, 2020 (hereafter “the Amendments”) amend several rules in the Civil Procedure Rules, 2010 (hereafter “the Principle Rules”). The Amendments have been published in the Kenya Gazette Supplement No. 9 and as Legal Notice No. 22, dated 26 February 2020. These highlights provide insights into some of the significant changes that the Amendments have introduced into the Principle Rules.
